The milestone of turning 50 in 2007 gave CFCC great reason to reflect on what we have accomplished in a relatively short period of time and to think consider how we will meet and hopefully exceed expectations in the future.  The Promise for the Future Campaign is a part of CFCC’s plan to ensure the promising social, cultural, economic and educational futures of students, the college and the communities CFCC serves.  There are three projects within the Promise for the Future Campaign that are sure to shape the futures of Citrus, Levy and Marion counties in exciting, dramatic and necessary ways:

1. The Promise for the Future Fund will help develop new and enhance existing educational programs considered priorities by our community; for which CFCC does not receive public funds.  The Fund will ensure that CFCC continues to offer cost-effective programs and services that challenge students and are relevant to our communities. 
   
   
2. The CFCC Citrus Signature Learning and Conference Center will address immediate educational and civic needs in Citrus County by expanding classroom and lab space available and providing the county with a professional, state-of-the-art conference space that is centrally located in the county.
   
   
3. The CFCC Levy Center Development will expand access to higher education in Levy County through the construction of the county’s first permanent Levy Center.  While expanding classroom and lab space available, the permanent college facility will also enhance state-of-the-art accommodations available to the community for social, cultural and professional gatherings.
