Scholarship Information
To receive a scholarship, you must be enrolled at least half-time (a minimum of 6 credit hours) during the semester(s) for which the scholarship is awarded. All students applying for scholarships are required to file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2005-2006 school year, as many scholarships are need-based and are awarded in accordance with FAFSA information. You can file your FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. FAFSA application forms and computers for FAFSA on the Web access are available on the Ocala campus in the Enrollment Services Center, Building 5, Room 102, and on the Citrus campus in the Academic Advisement Center. In Levy County, you may obtain the FAFSA forms in the Main Office of the Levy County center in Chiefland.
If you wish to be considered for any scholarships, complete the attached application form, sign it, and return it to CFCC’s Enrollment Services Center, Building 5, Room 102, Ocala campus, or you can mail it to the address listed above. You must answer all questions. In addition to the application form, new CFCC students must submit an official high school transcript and transcripts from any other colleges or trade schools attended. Incomplete application packets WILL NOT be given consideration. All completed application packets meeting the GPA criteria will be given consideration. You will be notified in writing if you are selected to receive a scholarship.
